Earlier this week DHS and the Chemical Sector Coordinating
Council announced
the dates for the 2015 Chemical Sector Security Summit (CSSS). It will be held on
July 21–23, 2015 in Alexandria, VA. The hotel information is not yet available
and registration has not yet opened.
SOCMA also has information
available about the EXPO associated with the CSSS.
With the on-going implementation of the new CFATS program
mandated by HR 4007 last year, this should be an interesting summit.
Unfortunately there is still no indication that DHS intends to make any of the
presentations at the CSSS available live on the web. This year I would think
that this would be even more important than normal.
