Today the DHS National Protection and Programs Directorate
(NPPD) published a notice of availability in the Federal Register (80 FR
27339-27340) announcing the availability of the Expedited Approval Program
guidance document that I
reported on yesterday.
Nothing really new here, but there is a nice short summary
of the EAP and an explanation of how the EAP guidance was exempted from various
administrative requirements under the Administrative
Procedures Act (5 USC 553) and the Paperwork Reduction Act
(44 USC Chapter 13 Subchapter I).
