There were 32 bills introduced in the House and Senate
yesterday. Only one of them may be of specific interest to readers of this
blog:
HR 2786
To require the Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to submit a
report on cross-border rail security, and for other purposes. Rep.
Vela, Filemon [D-TX-34]
I’m not typically a big fan of report generating bills, but
it would be nice to have CBP take a look at this situation. It will be
interesting to see if TSA is to be involved.
