The OMB’s Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs
(OIRA) announced Wednesday that both the DOT’s National
Transportation Safety Administration (NTSA) and the DOC’s National
Telecommunications and Information Administration have submitted separate notice
of proposed rulemakings (NPRMs) implementing changes to the 911 Grant Program.
These rulemakings were not included in the Obama Administration’s Fall 2016
Unified Agenda and the Trump Administration has yet to publish their Spring
2017 Unified Agenda.
I’ll be watching to see if these NPRM’s address
cybersecurity measures for 911 programs.
