Yesterday there were 35 bills introduced in the House and
Senate. Of those one may be of specific interest to readers of this blog:

A bill to improve federal network security and authorize and enhance an
existing intrusion detection and prevention system for civilian federal
networks. Sen. Carper, Thomas R. [D-DE]
This bill is almost certainly the EINSTEIN act that I
mentioned in yesterday’s blog about Congressional hearings. If it only
addresses Federal cybersecurity this will probably be the last mention of the
bill in this blog.
