Today the Coast Guard published a notice in the Federal
Register (79 FR
35766-35767) serving public notice that it had received a letter of intent
for the establishment of a waterfront facility handling Liquefied Hazardous Gas
(LHG) from Enterprise Terminalling LLC.
In accordance with 33
CFR Part 127, the Captain of the Port will review the letter of intent and
the waterway suitability assessment provided by the company as well as any
public comments received in response to this notice before a letter of
recommendation is provided for this facility.
The Coast Guard is soliciting comments on this proposed
facility’s effect on the waterways leading to the facility. Personnel wishing
to submit such comments may do so using the Federal eRulemaking Portal (www.Regulations.gov; Docket # USCG-2014-0406). Such comments need to be
submitted by July 24th, 2014.
