While only the Senate is really in session the House also “met”
in proforma session yesterday and was responsible for over half (5 of 9) of the
bills introduced yesterday. Only one of those bills may be of specific interest
to readers of this blog:
S 2410 Latest Title: An original
bill to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2015 for military activities
of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense
activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel
strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes. Sponsor: Sen
Levin, Carl (D,MI)
It will be interesting to see if there is any significant
mention of cybersecurity or cyber-warfare in this bill.
