House Appropriations Bill Includes CFATS Extension
According to a report on NextGov.com the House DHS appropriations bill considered Monday by the Homeland Security Subcommittee of the Appropriations Committee includes “a one-year extension of the department's authority to regulate security at chemical facilities”. This sounds very similar to the language included in the President’s budget request.
Until a copy of the bill is actually published by GPO (probably next week after the full committee marks up the bill on Thursday) I will not be able to see what the bill actually says
