On last Monday, the Congressional Research Service (CRS) published
a report
on “Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) Cybersecurity Provisions”. It provides a brief
look at the history of the SDWA and the provisions of that legislation (with
subsequent amendments) that deal with cybersecurity issues for public drinking
water systems. Interestingly, this report does not contain the frequently seen ‘Considerations
for Congress’ section that discusses legislative issues that may face members
in the near future.
