The Coast Guard published a meeting notice in today’s
Federal Register (78 FR 20558-20559)
for a TWIC Reader NPRM meeting in Seattle, WA on May 2nd, 2013. This
is the third meeting announced (4-18-13 Arlington,
VA; 4-25-13 Houston,
TX) to allow members of the affected public to comment on the
provisions of the notice of proposed rulemaking.
East Coast, Gulf Coast, and West Coast; I suspect that there
will be at least one more announcement of a meeting in the Great Lakes region.
