Yesterday, the House Appropriations Committee published a committee draft of the first of two spending mini-busses that will be considered under the latest agreement between the leadership of the House and Senate and the White House for spending in the remainder of FY 2024. The bill will be introduced tomorrow when the House resumes work in Washington and will be considered under the suspension of the rules process later this week.
This proposed legislation would cover six of the twelve annual spending bills:
Division A - Military Construction,
Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2024
Division B - Agriculture, Rural
Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations
Act, 2024
Division C - Commerce, Justice,
Science, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2024
Division D - Energy and Water
Development and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2024
Division E - Interior, Environment,
and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2024
Division F - Transportation,
Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2024
