Review - House Rules for the 118th Congress

When the newly sworn in Representatives return to Washington this evening, their first order of business is scheduled to be the adoption of the Rules for the House of Representatives. What will actually be considered is an amendment resolution to the existing Rules that were adopted by the 117^th Congress two years ago. What is not clear is how the House will consider this resolution, since there has been no rule constructed for the consideration by the as of yet unformed House Rules Committee.
