Today DOT, the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and the
Pipeline and Hazardous Material Safety Administration (PHMSA) published copies
of the latest crude oil train Emergency Order (79 FR
27363) and safety advisory (79 FR
27370-27371) in the Federal Register. I discussed
these documents last week.
The actual language of the Emergency Order is not included
in today’s notice, but a link to the Federal eRulemaking Portal and docket # (www.Regulations.gov; Docket # DOT-OST-2014-0067)
has been provided. Here is a direct link to the Emergency

The effective date for the EO is still May 7th so
the 30-day notification requirement still starts then.
