Draft Agenda Published for 4th Cybersecurity Framework Workshop

Yesterday NIST published the Draft Agenda for the 4^{th Cybersecurity Framework Workshop} that will be held in Dallas, TX on September 11^th thru 13^th.

Nothing really surprising here. There will be an introductory meeting about the Framework and the Workshop with a Q&A session on the first morning. Each morning will start out with a brief industry panel discussion (topics and speakers to be announced). The bulk of the three days will be spent working in topic-specific working groups (topics to be announced). Then the Workshop will close with reports from the working group facilitators and a discussion about where the Framework proceeds from there.

The agenda also notes that NIST is planning on publishing the draft preliminary Cybersecurity Framework on August 28^th.

NIST is also holding a pre-workshop session on September 10^th to familiarize people with the Workshop process and Framework development. This is intended for folks who have not attended previous workshops.

BTW: I have registered for both the pre-workshop and the workshop. Since I live just a couple of hours down the road I’ll be able to work this into my budget by driving in. I’m not sure if I will be able to make all four sessions, but I certainly intend on being there on September 11^th.
