Yesterday Sen. McCain (R,AZ) introduced S 3342, a new bill
to improve ‘information security’. The GPO version of the bill is not yet
available so I can only guess that this is an attempt to establish a compromise
position between McCain’s earlier bill (S
2151) and the Senate Homeland Security Committee bill (S
2105). I don’t expect much (probably no) control system regulation, but you
never can tell.
