PHMSA Pipeline Safety ICRs

The Pipeline and Hazardous Material Safety Administration (PHMSA) published a 60-day information collection request (ICR) renewal notice in Monday’s Federal Register (76 FR 45904-45906). The notice covers eight ICRs for pipeline safety programs.
2137-0048 Requirements for Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Facilities
Total Annual Responses: 101.
Total Annual Burden Hours: 12,120.

2137-0049 Record Keeping for Natural Gas Pipeline Operators
Total Annual Responses: 2,300.
Total Annual Burden Hours: 940,454.

2137-0593 Pipeline Safety: Excess Flow Valves--Customer Notification
Total Annual Responses: 900,000.
Total Annual Burden Hours: 18,000.

2137-0594 Customer Owned Service Lines
Total Annual Responses: 550, 000.

PHMSA is soliciting public comments on these ICRs. Comments can be submitted via the Federal eRulemaking Portal (http://www.regulations.gov/, Docket # PHMSA-2011-0178). Comments should be submitted by September 30th, 2011.
