CSSS Presentations

Well, I said earlier today that DHS would be putting up links to many of the presentations from the Chemical Sector Security Summit. I had hoped for the end of the week but would have been happy to see it by the end of the month (it took until August 6th last year). I was pleasantly surprised to see that the presentations were posted when I checked the CSSS site this evening. Actually the site contains a link to a new page; 2010 Chemical Sector Security Summit Presentations. This page contains links to 19 different slide presentations in 13 categories. Those categories include:
● CFATS and AN Update ● Multi-Agency Harmonization on Chemical and HazMat Security Regulations ● Inspections Process Lessons Learned ● Cybersecurity for the Chemical Security Professional ● Transportation Risk – Security Issues ● Active Shooter Exercise ● U.S Coast Guard Programs - Certain Dangerous Cargos ● Personnel Surety: The Future of Background Checks for the Chemical Industry ● Theft & Diversion ● Compliance Lessons Learned ● Inherently Safer Technology Panel
I’ve briefly looked at some of the presentations, but it is going to take some time to look these in detail. I’ll certainly be discussing some of them here, but don’t wait for me if you see something that interests you on the site. BTW: The presentations from the 2008 and 2009 Summits are still available on the DHS web site.
