This morning, one day before the regularly scheduled release of new and revised security advisories, Siemens published a new security bulletin on “Increasing Cyber Threats to Industrial Control Systems”. The bulletin references the June 30th, 2025, fact sheet from CISA, the FBI, DOD, and NSA on “Iranian Cyber Actors May Target Vulnerable US Networks and Entities of Interest”.
Siemens observes that:
“The current geopolitical situation has created increased cybersecurity risks across all industrial sectors. This challenging environment also impacts the operational technology (OT) landscape, where we observe an intensification of threat activities.”
The bulletin recommends generic mitigation measures be taken.
