Today CISA published a meeting notice in the Federal Register (88 FR 59533-59534) for public meeting of the President's National Infrastructure Advisory Council (NIAC) on September 13th, 2023 in Washington, DC. The NIAC provides the President, through the Secretary of Homeland Security, advice on the security and resilience of the Nation's critical infrastructure sectors.
The agenda for the September meeting includes:
• A keynote address on critical
infrastructure security and resilience,
• An overview on the National
Cybersecurity Implementation Plan and cyber regulatory harmonization,
• A report to the Council from the
NIAC's Electrification Subcommittee,
• Deliberation and vote on
Electrification Subcommittee recommendations, and
• Additional topics discussion.
Personnel wishing to attend
the in-person meeting needs to register by email (NIAC@cisa.dhs.gov). Written comments on the
agenda topics may be submitted for consideration by NIAC via the Federal
eRulemaking Portal (www.Regulations.gov;
