CFATS Knowledge Center Page Taken Down

Sometime today, the CFATS Knowledge Center web site has been taken off-line. In its place is a page from Ivanti noting that: “The page you requested could not be found.” Readers should remember that this page was the first page associated with the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) that showed any signs of the termination of the program on July 27th. The CFATS expiration notice that appeared on that page on July 28th was still there last night. Other CFATS pages are still up, but still include a separate version of the termination notice.

The CFATS Knowledge Center site was the only CFATS related pages that were controlled by CISA’s Office of Chemical Security. The other pages were centrally managed by CISA. It would now appear that Ivanti was maintaining the site for OCS.

If this page was taken down for funding issues (I would not have expected that to be a problem until next month), I hope that someone at either Ivanti or OCS kept a copy of the pages because there was a wealth of information in the Frequently Asked Questions portion of this web site. It would be a pain to recraft those pages from scratch if/when the CFATS program is reauthorized.
