Review - HR 3935 Reported in House – FAA Reauthorization

Last week the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee published their report on HR 3935, the

Securing Growth and Robust Leadership in American Aviation Act. The Committee completed action on the bill during a business meeting on June 14^th, 2023, adopting substitute language with amendments and recommending it favorably by a unanimous vote. Floor Consideration

Yesterday, the House Rules Committee met to prepare the rule for the consideration of the bill later this week. The bill will be considered under a structured rule. That rule provides for one hour of general debate followed by consideration of 104 amendments, generally with 10 minutes of debate allowed for each amendment. There are three of those amendments that may be of interest here; numbers 3, 40, and 59.
