According to a TWEET® from @DSenFloor this
morning the Senate confirmed Suzanne
Spaulding as the DHS Under Secretary for the National Protection and Programs
Directorate. She has been filling this position as Acting Under Secretary since
her predecessor Rand Beers moved up to the Acting DHS Secretary position. NPPD
is responsible for both the CFATS program and ICS-CERT.
Not unexpectedly, the confirmation came by a voice vote.
