With the House out of town we only have the Senate to watch
for proposed legislation and they provided one bill introduction yesterday that
might be of potential interest to readers of this blog:
S 1638 Latest Title: A bill to
promote public awareness of cybersecurity. Sponsor: Sen
Whitehouse, Sheldon (D,RI)
This will probably address just personal cybersecurity
issues, but we could get surprised by more comprehensive cybersecurity
awareness language.
