Duluth, MN – 9-3-25

There was a pool chemical spill in a pool utility room at a hotel. The hotel was evacuated because of chlorine fumes. No injuries were reported.

Charlotte, NC – 9-4-25

There was an ammonia leak from a railcar with residual ammonia in a railyard. No injuries were reported and the leak was addressed by first responders.

Newburgh, IN – 9-6-25

There was a fire and reported multiple explosions at a metal plating manufacturing facility. Chemicals outside of the manufacturing building were burning. A shelter-in-place order was issued for local residents. No injuries were reported, nor has there been any description of damages at the facility.

Probable CSB reportable.
