Today, the Transportation Security Administration published a 60-day information collection notice in the Federal Register (87 FR 59816-59818) for their “Pipeline Corporate Security Review (PCSR) Program”. The updated ICR reflects changes to collection requirements based on TSA's latest update to the TSA SD 2021-02 series, released on July 21, 2022.
Public Comments
TSA is soliciting public comments on this ICR notice. Comments may be submitted to TSA by email (TSAPRA@tsa.dhs.gov). Comments should be submitted by December 2nd, 2022.
Commentary
I have taken the TSA to task on the lack of information
provided in their ICR notices many times in the past. I will not be doing that
with this notice. They have done a pretty good job of outlining the collection
requirements and the basis for their burden estimates. The only minor complaint
that I have with this notice is the lack of a link to the PCSR spreadsheet.
Assuming that nothing has changed (and there is no indication that it should
have changed), a copy of that document is
available on the OIRA
website for the latest emergency approval.
