ISCD Updates 3 FAQ Responses – 7-1-20

Yesterday the CISA Infrastructure Security Compliance Division (ISCD) updated the responses to three frequently asked questions on the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) Knowledge Center. This is part of an on-going effort at ISCD to make FAQ editorial changes designed to: reflect changes in program management (CISA branding), to change URL’s to page links (see the similar 6-22-20 blog post) and to make the responses more helpful; rather than reflecting changes in ISCD policy.

The three FAQ responses updated yesterday were:

FAQ #1595 How do I notify the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) if I am aware (1) that Chemical-terrorism Vulnerability Information (CVI) has been released to a person without a need to know, or (2) of any request for access to CVI by persons without a need to know, or (3) that any actual or suspected misuse of or unauthorized access to CVI may have occurred?

FAQ #1596 I have just completed the new Chemical-terrorism Vulnerability Information (CVI) Authorized User training module but previously completed the original CVI training. Will I receive a new CVI number?

FAQ #1606 How does a person access a Chemical Security Assessment Tool (CSAT) letter that needs to be acknowledged?
