Yesterday at noon I noticed that there was a new item listed
in the ‘Latest News’ section of the
CFATS Knowledge Center. Since we are
waiting for ISCD to publish their latest guidance on how to more effectively prepare
for the Site Security Plan pre-inspection visit, I eagerly clicked on the ‘More’
link provided and was surprised to be provided with a blank pop-up window. I
had hoped that I had just interrupted the posting of this bit of news, but I
had the same result when I checked at 5:00 am EDT this morning.

(ISCD) reached a milestone as it completed its 1000th Compliance Assistance

Anti-terrorism Standards (CFATS) based on their own unique circumstances.
ISCD began
conducting CAVs in 2007 to assist facilities in completing Top Screens and the
highest risk facilities in submitting Security Vulnerability Assessments.
Today, CAVs are conducted to provide technical assistance and educate regulated
or potentially regulated facilities about the CFATS program, to provide
assistance with CSAT registrations and submissions, and to answer additional

operations or site, assist ISCD in evaluating any facility’s reques

I hope that we see more information on this ‘milestone’ announcement
soon, particularly since it appears to be late already. NOTE: As of 11:19 am EDT I can confirm what both commenters have said; the 'More' link now provide the complete 'Latest News' item about the 1000th complaince assitance visit. Its well worht the read.
