CG LNG-LHG ICR to OMB

Late last month I mentioned in a posting about the final rule for the Coast Guard LNG-LHG site reviews that the Coast Guard could not begin collecting the information required in the rule until the Office of Management and Budget approved their information collection request revision (1625-0049). I also noted that the ICR had not yet been submitted to OMB. According to the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) web site the ICR was officially submitted on June 9th. There is no way of telling at this point if OIRA will approve the ICR before the June 25th effective date of the final rule.
