Yesterday the DOL’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration published 16 notices in the Federal Register for extensions of comment periods for notices of proposed rulemakings related respirator requirements for various OSHA safety standards, aligning those rules with the OSHA respiratory protection standard (29 CFR 1910.134). The related NPRMs were published on July 1st, 2025.
