Yesterday the Senate completed their debate on S 1260, the Endless Frontiers Act, and passed the bill by a moderately bipartisan vote of 68 to 32. The Schumer substitute language was adopted earlier by a similar vote. No additional amendments were adopted yesterday. With the adoption of the Schumer amendment the title of the bill was changed to the “United States Innovation and Competition Act”.
I will have a more detailed analysis of the cybersecurity
provisions of the bill when the engrossed version of the bill is published.
