Committee Markup of HR 3684 – INVEST in America Act

As I tentatively reported yesterday, the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee will be holding a markup hearing tomorrow and it will include HR 3684, the Investing in a New Vision for the Environment and Surface Transportation (INVEST) in America Act. This is the FY 2022 surface transportation authorization bill. The Committee will consider substitute language for the bill.

Looking at the table of contents for the substitute language, I see no changes from the original bill. This typically means that there are just some routine editorial changes being made to the bill to clear up minor technical and grammatical issues.
