Yesterday with both the House and Senate meeting in pro
forma session (most of the members on their way home for the weekend) there
were six bills introduced. One of those may receive future attention in this
blog:

5428 To amend the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 and the
Energy Policy Act of 2005 to direct Federal research on grid modernization and
security, and for other purposes. Rep.
Lamb, Conor [D-PA-17]
The term ‘security’ is used in a couple of different
contexts. If the language includes cybersecurity research, then I will mention
it here.
