Yesterday there were only 44 bills introduced in the House
and Senate; a relatively low number for the first week of the session. There
was only one that will be of specific interest to readers of this blog:
HR 240 Making
appropriations for the Department of Homeland Security for the fiscal year
ending September 30, 2015, and for other purposes. Rep.
Rogers, Harold [R-KY-5]
As I mentioned last night the Rules Committee is meeting on
this bill Monday evening and I expect that it will make its way to the floor
this week. The bill will likely be on the President’s desk well before the
February 27th deadline.
