The Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee
announced today that they will be conducting
a markup hearing of S 1353, the Cybersecurity Act of 2103 tomorrow. This
will have to be one of the fastest rubber-stamp hearings on record as the
Committee will also be considering 11 other Senate bills, one resolution, eight
nominations and the Coast Guard promotion list. I’ll be very surprised if there
is much discussion about this bill.
The copy of the bill just became public this afternoon. I’ll
have a report on it before morning.
