There was one bill introduced in the Senate yesterday that
will be of specific interest to the cybersecurity community.

Title: A bill to provide for an ongoing, voluntary public-private
partnership to improve cybersecurity, and to strengthen cybersecurity research
and development, workforce development and education, and public awareness and
preparedness, and for other purposes. Sponsor: Sen
Rockefeller, John D., IV (D,WV)
This is almost certainly the anticipated and much discussed
Rockefeller bill to essentially codify the President’s cybersecurity executive
order.
