There was only one bill introduced yesterday that might be
of specific interest to the cybersecurity community. That bill is:
HR 1121 Latest Title: To protect
cyber privacy, and for other purposes. Sponsor: Rep Conyers,
John, Jr. (D,MI)
While cyber-privacy is not necessarily related to
cybersecurity, and because of the way that much of the cybersecurity debate is
focused, the bill may end up being about limitations on cybersecurity programs.
This is certainly one that I will have to look at the language of when it comes
out.
