Last night the House Rules Committee met to formulate
the rule for the consideration of HJ
Res, 117, the Continuing
Appropriations Resolution, 2013. As expected the rule is a closed rule providing for one-hour of debate
and no amendments. According to the House
Majority Leader’s web site, the CR will be considered today. There should
be mixed bipartisan support (some opposition from both parties) for this bill
and it should pass without any problem. The Senate would then probably take up
the resolution next week, where it is expected to pass as well.
