CIPAC Meeting 10-07-09

DHS announced in today’s Federal Register that the Critical Infrastructure Partnership Advisory Council would be holding their next meeting on October 7th in Washington, DC. The public is invited to attend but will not be allowed to take part in the discussions unless specifically invited to do so by DHS. According to the Federal Register notice “CIPAC represents a partnership between government and critical infrastructure and key resources (CIKR) owners and operators and provides a forum in which they can engage in a broad spectrum of activities to support and coordinate critical infrastructure protection.” The discussion at this meeting will center around information sharing and cyber security.
