Yesterday, with just the House in Washington, there were 55 bills introduced. Two of those bills may receive additional coverage in this blog:
HR 4258 To establish a governmentwide approach to improving digital identity, and for other purposes. Rep. Foster, Bill [D-IL-11]
HR 4259 To direct the Secretary of Commerce, acting through the Director of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, to direct the Institute to establish a robust program focusing on driving improvements in America's cybersecurity posture by creating more robust digital identity management standards and guidelines. Rep. Foster, Bill [D-IL-11]
I will be watching these bills for language and definitions
that include control system security within the provisions of the bill. I do
not really expect to see that in these bills.
