Yesterday with both the House and Senate in session there
were 41 bills introduced. Of those, one may be of specific interest to readers
of this blog:
HR 6430
To amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to authorize the Secretary of
Homeland Security to implement certain requirements for information relating to
supply chain risk, and for other purposes. Rep.
King, Peter T. [R-NY-2]
While this will probably be a federal IT specific bill, the
supply chain risk requirements may end up being a standard that would be implementable
by many organizations due to the purchasing power of the federal government.
