Yazoo City, MS – 11-6-25

There was an explosion at a chemical facility that resulted in the release of anhydrous ammonia. No deaths or injuries were reported. Evacuations were ordered in the immediate vicinity of the facility and shelter-in-place orders were issued for the surrounding area.

Probable CSB reportable for damages.

Weatherford, OK – 11-12-25

There was an anhydrous ammonia leak from a tanker truck in a hotel parking lot. 36 people were transported to area hospitals. 1,000 residents were evacuated and shelter-in-place orders were established.

Not CSB reportable, this is a transportation related incident.
