Yesterday there were 27 bills introduced in the House and
Senate. Only one of those may be of specific interest to readers of this blog:
HJ
Res 78 Making further continuing appropriations for fiscal year 2016, and
for other purposes. Rep.
Rogers, Harold [R-KY-5]
HJ Res 78 was passed in both the House and Senate yesterday
by voice vote. The bill extends the current FY 2016 temporary spending
authority until December 22, 2015. This should provide Congress with the time
to pass HR 2029, the ‘Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2016, which I discussed
briefly yesterday.
