bills were introduced in the House and Senate yesterday. One of those is of
potential specific interest to readers of this blog:
H.R.5822 :
To establish a Hazardous Materials Information Advisory Committee to develop
standards for the use of electronic shipping papers for the transportation of
hazardous materials, and for other purposes. Sponsor: Rep
Lipinski, Daniel (D,IL)
The chances of this coming to the floor in both the House
and Senate before this Congress adjourns for the last time are slim to none.
