The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA)
published a meeting notice in today’s Federal Register (78 FR
64024-64025) for the next meeting of the National
Industrial Security Program Policy Advisory Committee (NISPPAC) on November
14th, 2013 in Washington, DC.
The announcement only notes that purpose of the meeting is
to “discuss National Industrial Security Program policy matters”. The minutes
from the last meeting, however, indicate that there will be an update “on
the status of E.O. 13587 [Structural
Reforms to Improve the Security of Classified Networks and the Responsible
Sharing and Safeguarding of Classified Information]
implementation and
its impact on Industry” (page 10).
This meeting is open to the public, but due to space limitations
advance registration (ISOO@nara.gov) is
required by November 5th.
