Thanks to Northlandfox on TWITTER® for pointing us at the latest Congressional Research Service report on the CFATS program. This is the latest copy of the report the CRS prepares for each session of Congress summarizing the history of the CFATS program, its goals and processes, and outlining the policy issues that the current session of Congress might be required to deal with.
This is a good summary document that does a reasonable job of presenting all sides of the issues. Anyone involved in the CFATS process will probably want a copy of this in their library. This report will probably be the basis for most Congress Critters’ knowledge about CFATS.
