Review – Bills Introduced – 6-24-26

Yesterday, with both the House and Senate in session and preparing to leave for the 2-week July 4th recess, there were 131 bills introduced. Two of those bills may receive additional coverage in this blog:

S 4882 A bill to amend the Export Control Reform Act of 2018 to provide for the security of information and communications technology and services supply chains, and for other purposes. Scott, Tim [Sen.-R-SC]

S 4939 A bill to require the Secretary of Health and Human Services to review certain medical devices manufactured in the People's Republic of China for potential cybersecurity issues, and for other purposes. Cotton, Tom [Sen.-R-AR]

Space Geek Legislation

I would like to mention two bills under my limited Space Geek coverage in this blog:

S 4905 A bill to authorize the Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration to conduct a pilot program for investment in infrastructure projects at NASA Centers. Moody, Ashley [Sen.-R-FL]

S Res 792 A resolution designating June 30, 2026, as "Asteroid Day". Kelly, Mark [Sen.-D-AZ]
