There was a motor vehicle accident that resulted in the spill of about 20 gallons of bleach. There were no reports of any injuries.
Not CSB reportable; this was a transportation related incident.

There was a boron trifluoride (BF3) leak at a chemical manufacturing facility. Ten people were transported to local hospitals for chemical exposure issues. Local evacuation and shelter-in-place orders were issued.
Probable CSB reportable, depending on if any of the transported individuals were admitted to the hospital. Given the toxicity of BF3, it would be very surprising if no one was admitted.

Chalmette, LA – 5-7-26

There was an explosion and fire at an oil refinery. No injuries were reported. No evacuations were ordered for the surrounding area.
