Yesterday, with both the House and Senate in session, there were 35 bills introduced. Two of those bills will receive additional coverage in this blog:
HR
10123 To establish an interagency committee to harmonize regulatory regimes
in the United States relating to cybersecurity, and for other purposes. Higgins,
Clay [Rep.-R-LA-3]
S 5321 A bill to amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to establish a DHS Cybersecurity Internship Program, and for other purposes. Peters, Gary C. [Sen.-D-MI]
Realistically, I will be surprised if any actions are taken
on either bill before the end of the session. We may not even see these bills
published before that time.
