Yesterday with both the House and Senate in session there
were 42 bills introduced. One of those bills will receive additional coverage
in this blog:
HR
6186 To facilitate screening and criminal history background checks for
individuals seeking access to qualified chemical and refining infrastructure
entities, and for other purposes. Rep.
Weber, Randy K., Sr. [R-TX-14]
At first glance I thought that this might be about the CFATS
personnel surety program, but with it being referred to the House Judiciary
Committee instead of the Homeland Security or Energy and Commerce Committees I
am not so sure. I definitely will be watching this one.
