This will be the third version (earlier versions were S
1790 and S
2731) of the National Defense Authorization Act that Inhofe has introduced
this year. He is still making an attempt to move this ‘must pass’ legislation forward
while keeping both the President and the House Democrats happy. It will be interesting
to see what cybersecurity provisions remain in this one.
